REVOLUTION WATERJET

ANDREWS, TEXAS

Brothers Keith and Troy Yarbrough started their West Texas Rental and Supply business on a shoe string while working their full time jobs. After many long nights and weekends, the business had enough traction to stand alone and the Yarbrough brothers haven’t looked back since.

Revolution Waterjet is a contract manufacturing company servicing the West Texas oil fields from their facility in Andrews, Texas. It was established in 2022 in response to poor service levels from its waterjet cutting supplier. Travis Yarbrough joined the family business and is charged with growing and managing this new enterprise.

Revolution Waterjet processes a lot of fiberglass parts for oil field applications, such as flanges, manway covers and brackets, as well as various metal ones.

REVOLUTION WATERJET RESULTS:

According to Travis, the dual heads and 5-axis capability “makes it virtually limitless on what we can cut and how we can cut it. It’s wild what you can do with those 5-axis heads.” Workpiece thicknesses processed so far range from 16 gauge aluminum to 5 in. steel, but “We’ll cut anything,” he says. He adds that waterjetting fiberglass has become a particular niche application for Revolution because it is more time-consuming than cutting metal and not a lot of people want to do it.

Revolution also chose to include twice yearly Preventative Maintenance (PM) visits, performed by Jet Edge’s knowledgeable and helpful service team.  The visits include tasks like changing the hydraulic fluid, replacing all filters, inspecting and or replacing pump seals, aligning the cutting heads, etc.  Whether Revolution chooses to continue utilizing the PM program for many years to come, or decides to take on such maintenance tasks themselves, Jet Edge is always committed to teaching customers how their machines work and how to ensure they get the best life and performance from their equipment.

“I TOLD THE GUY AT JET EDGE, WHEN WE DO SOMETHING, WE DO IT BIG. WE DON’T EVER WANT TO HAVE TO SAY ‘OUR MACHINE CAN’T CUT THAT.'”

– TRAVIS YARBROUGH, OWNER, GENERAL MANAGER
